Need to restart Router every time I restart the laptop.
« on: November 02, 2009, 09:11:07 PM »

Greetings,

I own a d-link dir-615 Hardware Version: C1   Firmware Version: 3.01
Problem has been there since day I bought it.
I own a HP laptop with Vista on it.
The network set up and everything is good, the problem is.. every time I restart my laptop I loose the wireless connection (says: connected with limited connectivity), and need to restart my router to get connected again.
Once I unplug the router and plug it back in, the laptop connects no problem.
I looked around and it seems to be a common problem, but no one really could tell me a specific solution.

Please help, this is getting on my last nerves.

Thanks in advance

Hey! I'm having the same problem as you. It's really annoying!! At least it works when it's connected with an ethernet cable..

Suffering the exact same problem. I am thinking of returning my router.

Been seeing this style of problems since 615 (B1) version.  Mine was also automatically "restarting" when ever it got a wireless adapter signal (DWA-130 A1) and the warranty replacement did not fix it.
