But that isnt the point... we didnt spend $200 on the "nicest router available" for it to only half work or work not as well as my old $30 special router for that matter...
it is the principal of spending money on their "nicest" product & getting ignored & treated like we are newbie nobodies... some people got fotunate... personally it is bad design & they should have issued a recall as there is more than jsut firmware issues there are obviously hardware issues as well...
a recall would have been the professional & responsible thing to do, then swap people out with another model or offered a refund... i've been patient for a year of them hoping to get it fixed...and they still have not.. I could understand this treatment for a $15 or $20 or even a $30 router special... but no the TOP OF THE LINE model...
FurryNutz... also, not everyone that has issues is a n00b i bought a router for my home office, i spent good money to buy gigabit, wireless-N & QoS. That is what I needed. I spent the money on the nicest consumer grade one I could find because I didnt want to fuss with routers breaking... if we can't "tweak" the settings why not buy the $30 special router... I bought it SPECIFICALLY for the tweaking settings ie QoS etc...
.. I'm happy you have no issues, but what happens when it decides to fart out on you with the same problems? You will be on here as well, out your $200 like everyone else with no refund & having to spend money if you can even get them to send you a proper replacement... just be honest here...
