UPnP AV Server Settings
« on: November 18, 2009, 10:45:36 PM »

I transferred a bunch of AVI files to the DNS-323 about 2 days ago and today decided to watch them through my DSM-750 but they didn't show up, I had to refresh.
It says "The DNS-323 will automatically scan for file updates when content is added or deleted from the available folders. You can also click the "Refresh" button to manually scan for file updates"

It is enabled and Volume_1 is selected.

Yeah when supported media files types are added to the monitored folder by the UPnP AV media server the files should be added to the index automatically.

If you refresh manually does it refresh successfully?

how long before they are added automatically?

manually does work but takes a long time for them to appear, i personally have approx 35,000 pictures, 3000 songs and just over 1000 movies?

It should happen right after the files has transfered to the NAS.
