Can DIR-655 Wifi be disabled?
« on: December 03, 2009, 01:33:03 PM »

I'm interested in totally turning off the WIFI RF signal on the DIR-655 and turn it into 4-port gigabit router only for a period of time.  Is there a configuration setting to do this or will I have to resort to pulling off the antennae?

Log into the router as admin, go to the setup pages.  Select Wireless and then select the maual setup.  The first box is Enable Wireless, uncheck it and save - no wireless.
