syslog outbound traffic
« on: December 06, 2009, 05:49:57 PM »

Hello, I can't find if there is a way of configuring the router to log outbound traffic as well, it appears to only log inbound activity (blocked TCP and ICMP requests etc). Any help appreciated.

If you are on a 32 bit OS then you might want to take a look at RUBotted from Trend. It's free and monitors/logs any strange outgoing traffic. It has saved my bacon on a few occasions. The upside is you can look at logs for anything that triggered it and see what's going out.
