Sftp in next firmware

Has anybody heard anything about another firmware release?  It seems that since 1.03 has been released everything gotten very quiet.  Here is my shot at an addition.  We really need a secure ftp.  Get us up to the level of the DNS-323 which has it.  The ftp that is built in is old and out of date and could use it now.

I know that you can get it through funplug but I am not a linux guy and would like to see it built in.  Does anybody know if they are even working on any new firmware updates?

The next firmware will incorporate a bug fix for daily messages not working.  I haven't heard any other rumors.  Maybe ECM could drop a few hints of what might be included with 1.04?

According to the moderators there will be a 1.04.  I have no clue what will be in it.
