Mac Filter On to Allow = Router Froze on saving.
« on: December 08, 2009, 08:48:30 AM »

Hardware: Dir - 655 a4
Firmware: Tried 1.20, 1.21, 1.21, 1.31, 1.32(Beta 9)

So I bought a Dir-655 A4 with firmware 1.21 and proceed to add Mac Filter to only allow access (one of many security in place) and as soon as I hit save setting, IE status on bottom left goes contacting 192.168.0.1 > Reading 192.168.0.1 and froze.  I left it alone for 30 mins and it still does nothing, closing the web page and trying to access the web-interface again = page not found error.  The only way I was able to get back into the web-interface is to do a pin reset on the router.

I tried all the firmware listed and it still exhibits the same problem.  I tried Mac filter to DENY and save without any problem, went into other settings, make changes and once again no problem.  Seems it’s only happening on mac filter on to allow, which is not a big deal but still bug me as to why.  I tried searching Google, forum etc... for answers but so far I found none yet.  Any enlightenment or ideas to try on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
