Hi, I currently have a DIR 655, and it works great.  however, I just moved into an in-laws apartment above the garage in a rather large house.  I have to hook up my 655 at the complete opposite side of the house.  I put it up as high as I could, and I'm surprised I am getting about a 30% signal strength.  I'm happy I can connect, but as you can imagine, the speed leave a lot to be desired.  I have a Macbook, a Xbox 360, PS3, and a netbook that I'd like to hook up wirelessly.  I also have a VPN client I need to make sure works.

Running a wired connection so I can move the 655 closer to the garage is out of the question, so I think I either need a wireless bridge or a repeater.  Will the DAP 1555 work for me?  Will it connect with the 655 via wireless and propagate the signal to the garage better that the 655 alone?  Or do you guys recommend another product.
