I for one have been having wireless random disconnects of the N mode on my MacBook Pro. Just chating with a buddy on line MSN and was disconnected from that site once, then 2 minutes later, the wi-fi on my Laptop  was disconnected and cycling thru trying to find another connection. It reconnected about 15 seconds later. Using A1 HW and 08 FW. Log entries report that when I got online today and after the loss of wi-fi, it reported the association of the LT back online with the router right at the time of signal loss.

My A2 rebooted on it's own about 4 hrs ago.  Running firmware 1.21 Beta 8

Wireless when down again today. This time I couldn't even get back on. I noticed the channel was set for 40, I set it to 36. Will see what happens. Again, chatting on MSN.

I couldn't get reconnected smoothly after these disconnects today so I though maybe I could be the OS. I switched to OSX 10.5.8 from OSX 10.6.2 and 10.5.8 is doing the same thing. Wireless is randomly disconnecting the LT from the 4500. Thinking of going back to B03. Wireless need some work me thinks.

A1 HW, B08 FW, N mode wireless only.

I've been using the B08 FW since it was released and it's been running rather well for me! So far, as all the previous releases of the beta's this one is very stable. I've been changing the configurations so my up times have been varying due to those changes. I've yet to see any uncommanded disconnects or degradation of up or download speeds. My longest uptime was 3 days before making changes and rebooting to store those changes. I'm using A2 hardware, Googles public DNS. Client computers are able to connect to home server without a hitch, PS 3's, XboX, Laptops, desktops, Ipod, PSP, wired and wireless all seem to be having no problems. I'm going to leave this present config be and see how long it runs!!!!
   So far it's working for me. I have 2 days several hours of up time at the present. I"LL BE BACK

A2 FW 1.21B8 router just rebooted itself again. Approximately after 2 days and 10 hrs.  That is 2 reboots this week.  Thinking about going back to 1.21B3.

My A1 has been running stable for the last 2 days since the upgrade. I know initially, it takes about 4 days to start acting a fool.

My downloads aren't locking up as before and I tested a download with my HD DVR to stress test and I was able to run Youtube vids with no issue. Netflix did crap out when I started it up but I can say for sure if it's an issue with the router. The real test will come when I set up the PS3 on Christmas Day for the kids. I have been messing around with it when in the house alone and everything network related (PS Home, Playstation Store, etc) was fine.

However, I do have a mess of dropped packets on wireless since going to the beta.

Also seeing alot of errors and drop over wireless. I shut off the wireless on the 4500 fully and connected a different wireless N router to check to see if I'm seeing the same disconnect and make sure my MacBook Pro HW is working ok. Will run it for a day or 2 and see.

Time to pull out the old linksys wrt150n running dd-wrt firmware.

The Router with Firmware 1.21 B08 continues to operate flawlessly as of this posting. As noted below my up & download speeds are holding consistent as far as cable goes. I'm at 4 days 20 some odd hours with no glitches, disconnects or uncommanded reboots. My hopes are that this latest iteration of F/W will be the one.
  COMMENT: When I first purchased the DGL 4500, the original A1, I had no need to look at up times or all the other parameters that pointed to the health of this router. Perhaps it will do it again, then i'll say this router is bullet proof.

I replaced the 4500 with the linksys 150n but I'll swap them out this evening to get you the info.

SlingBox getting lag with B08
it was perfect with B03

on the Acer with intel ABG wireless it lag but only notice it on slingplayer

msi with G too it disconnect

both not happening at the same time tought

not sure about those stats when i reload the config file those data are saved?
if not ill reset it right now and ill look after few days to report it
