I've swapped my "main PC" to another machine and have been having major issues getting SharePport Plus installed and working correctly under Windows 10 - creator's edition (version 1709, build 16299.731).
I previously downloaded SharePoint Plus v4.50 (linked via this forum) which worked on an earlier version of Windows 10 - but I was having issues getting the printer connected - and the "auto connect" feature (which is needed when the printer is shared between multiple PCs) just didn't work - it wouldn't recognise the printer driver as being installed, even though it showed up in "devices and printers" in Windows.
I did a bit of digging, on installation it creates two firewall rules - one for "SharePort Plus" and is linked to the locationn of the main executable, the other is simply labelled "SXUPTP" and allows incoming UDP traffic to port number 19540. Searching on the name "SXUPTP" identified that this is the name of the driver which does the work behind the scenes, it is from a company called "Silex Technology" who appear to be an OE manufacturer. Looking on their support website found a link to a support page
here, on which is a download for "SX-Virtual Link" v4.3.0, dated 12.06.2017 - which explicitly lists support for 32 and 64 bit Windows 10.
I downloaded and installed this (removing the D-link SharePort Plus first) and it looks very similar - confirming that Silex are most likely the OEM - and the auto-connect also times out,
but it gives you the option to cancel searching and manually specify a printer. I selected that - and the appropriate printer - job done
So if you're struggling - try the above, it would appear D-Link aren't interested any longer as the revision 'A' DIR-868L router is now listed as "This product has been discontinued. Free support for this product has ended on 11/01/2016" ...
