My DIR-655 constantly blocks outgoing ICMP packets from my Linksys PAP2T device. I have tried buying new phone adapters, changing router settings, tried troubleshooting with Callcentric (my internet phone service company), tried resetting the router, and upgrading the firmware, but this router just will not behave. It seems to have a mind of its own. I have even opened DMZ to the device, and the router still blocks packets. I thought DMZ was suppose to let free traffic flow from and to the device across the internet just as if it did not have to pass through the router.
Is there any way to get this router to behave? I am about to go try a Linksys router.
Following is from my router log:
