Ya, I had 10.6 for the longest time, had the best experience with it I think. I just upgraded over it with 10.7 last week. Definitely notice that older legacy apps aren't usable in 10.7 and 10.8.
Ya, I hope that I can keep my LT going for as long as possible. Not sure what I'll do after that. I see OSX headed down the same road as Windows sometimes. One thing I didn't like in 10.8 is the scroll bar is now missing or gone from the dock preview window pane. You have to use the keyboard up and down arrows to scroll thru the apps or files.

Unless there is an option to turn that back on.
I'm going to stick with 10.7 for a while. I like to test out newer stuff though. So I get to go play re-install this evening. Oh joy.
