I guess you read either the wrong manual or missed the wifi configuration part in the firmware setup completely (and the additional help text in the setup screens).
With all due respect I'm not entirely sure you are addressing the issue I am referencing. What you've said here doesn't really make any sense -- or perhaps I am just misunderstanding you.

A google search will unearth many other people who have experienced this exact same problem (and many of them quite recently -- although they certainly may be using an old FW).
So, that brings me to my original question: is this problem merely a result of people using an old FW? If so, what version do I need in order to avoid it? Anyone else have any other info? I would very much appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.
