Hmm, ok so you mean Device Info > General. Yea, if thats blank, your firmware is probably corrupted. Did this happen after changing some settings or since day 1? If it happened after changing some settings, yea, the basic reset may help. But that just resets the config file, not the actual firmware. To reset that to default, try this:

Crash Reset
(1) Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds while the router is powered-on;
(2) Continue holding the reset button, unplug the router, and wait 30 seconds;
(3) Continue holding the reset button, plug-in the router, and wait 30 seconds; and
(4) Release the reset button and wait 2 minutes
If that doesn't work I would suggest calling Dlink support and seeing if you have a defective unit. Problems with the display are usually bad news bears.
