As a parent, I watch (very closely) what our kids do on the internet. I've found that no matter what we do to keep a close eye on the kids, they find a way around my efforts in one way or another. Before I decommission the firewall functions of my DIR-655 for a FreeBSD box, in order to perform true, full content packet capture, can anyone shed some light on setting LAN port or ports as "mirror" or monitor ports? To include traffic comming to/from the wireless interface...
If I was at work, I'd just put in a probe etc etc...
