2) Virus protection on certain folder(s), not on the full disk.

3) Way of logging all files opened, viewed & changed and by who, in an easy to read format. eg

Hi all,
a change probably very simple to implement would be great: (for me and probably for many users)

In the Remote Backup feature, when creating a new backup task, the firmware checks if there is enough space on the destination drive to store the source directory. If not, the creation is aborted. It would be great if this was only a warning, and if it was possible to finish the creation.

Explanation: I have two DNS 320, 1 Tb of storage each, in two very distant places, and the first is doing the backup of the second through the internet.
I had 600 Gb to backup. to avoid years of synchronisation through internet, I've copied my files on both NAS when they were on the same place, then taken away one of them and set up a backup between them.
I've done a first backup try on a small part of my files (200 Go) and used the incremental backup feature.  Everything worked perfectly well. (and it was amazingly simple to do! )

But, doing that with all my files, the creation is impossible because, in my destination drive (that already contains my 600 Gb), there are only 400 Gb left... and the firmware refuses to set up a backup of a 600 Gb directory...

There is probably a dirty solution by removing 200 Go on my destination drive, create the task, then replace the files (about 15 hours of local file transfer...) ... but I will have to do that everytime I change something in the task (even the frequency of the backup! ) and it will be really annoying...

I hope my explanations are clear... (and if anyone has a solution... I think I can try with the FTP automated download, but I am not sure and anyway it would be less "clean")
