Have a small request.

Please D-Link make this for us http://www.synology.com/products/dsm_livedemo.php?lang=enu. :)

I think Synology has put the bar at the highest level, concerning a lot of things.

One of the top features is the great DiskStation Manager. That is one hell of a management console.

Why doesnt D-Link follow in the same footsteps? Its a shame that a company like D-Link has not taken a great interest in its NAS products, and has created a basic/simplistic interface, with a lot of bugs/unsupported programs (itunes, squeeze etc.)

I am really starting to regret the money i spent on my DNS-325 whereas i could have waited a bit longer and buy a Synology, which basically covers anything you need concerning a NAS; performance, speed and expandability.

I am not here to just nag about my NAS, although you got to admit that D-Link doesnt really care for its products (DNS-325).

Anyway just something i wanted to share.

Add a line item like this: "General - Integrated file browser (with ability to delete files and directories)"?

Sorry I don't get it

To add a line item as general as mirroring/leveraging the functionality/GUI design of the Synology web interface is too general. From my understanding, one of the key features in the Synology web interface is the ability to manage files/directories (ergo my item).

Do you agree or have other items in mind?  ???

My only whish is Support for Android devices on DNLA
I have tried this in two Devices using DNLA apps they see the DNS they see the files but it will not send the footage
I bought this to replace a seagate which worked fine
The reason why i ask is that smart TV's are now out and the samsung range uses the same apps
This is only a android problem i have tried all the avalable dnla apps out there
My phone is a Galaxy s and that has a DNLA app that worked fine on the seagete
On the D-link it see's the file but can not play the file
If the file is on a pc and streamed via Dnla it works fine
My mate has the DNS 320 and that works fine
Hope this can get fixed or all the Smart TV customers are not going to be Happy >:(

Hello,

I wish my DNS-325 had the possibility to transfer files to the free microsoft Skydrive Cloud storage (there is already the Amazon S3 storage proposed, but you have to pay for it...).

Moreover, it would also be nice that the ADS plugin from the DNS-343 NAS would be adapted to the DNS-325...

Thank you in advance to the D-Link Team.
