No1 on the list (access and move files/directories on a USB storage device using the DNS-325 file manager) is very, VERY important. I need to transfer a folder that is 400GB and 160.000 files from an external usb disk to the NAS and if I do it from my PC all the data travel the whole network to come to my PC and then back to the NAS again... veeeeery slow..... and pro ne to network errors!

P2P bugfix: it's impossible to delete bit-torrent tracks if it is in "stop download" state (in wishlist already is "P2P - Ability to add/delete torrent trackers" but it is able only in dowloading state)

NET: Kernel support of iptables and ip6tables.

NET: OpenVPN server (i already use it by fun_plug and it works fine, for secure access to NAS from internet)

1) bug: if in "Network Share Settings" the option "oplocks" is enabled, the hard-disk drives will never go into hibernation. To avoid this problem, either "oplocks" should be disabled, or NFS service should be enabled (in this way it automatically disables all "oplocks").
2) P2P's poor integration with HDD hibernation: Even I set "Stop seeding after - 1 minute" or if I set "Stop seeding when meet - 100%", and the torrent has finished to be downloaded, I've noted that P2P still continues to seed. Due to the fact that I want hard-disks have to go into hibernation after n minutes, they will never go into hibernation if torrent continues to be seeded. The only way to stop seeds (and to let hdds go into hibernation) is to disable P2P!!! P2P should be better integrated (or even be part of the DNS325 firmware and not a plugin anymore) in order to stop itself when all P2P downloads are finished and to let hdds go into power-saving mode if required.
3) Consider the situation if the HDDs are already into hibernation, and I want to power-off the NAS. I press the power button (or I select shutdown in web management). What's happen? The HDDs wake up (you hear the sound of their engine again)... and then are powered off!!!! It's a waste of power and reduces the life of HDDs!!! Is it a bug or a needed behavior?

I'd like to add also following items:

1) not only "General - Support for power-on on a schedule", but also to power-on NAS using Wake-On-Lan (WOL) feature - I am trying in these days to do it without success.
2) Unfortunately hibernation fails also if "iTunes server" is enabled - as far as I verified in these last days.
3) Ability to configure NAS options using Telnet (fast and simple), but with ability to set also an alternate port for Telnet (for security reasons).
4) Ability to configure NAS using a simple text interface (useful for low-band mobile devices, such us Android and iOS ones).
5) Ability to access to HTTP web management using an alternate port for security reasons (for an attacker is a joke to access port 80, normally this port is opened on router!!!).
6) Ability to restore a file from a "recycle" folder on NAS when deleted on a "recycled" shared folder.
7) Ability to have a configuration page that shows all used NAS ports, used by NAS but also by its applications.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

We are experiencing shh key problems.
Could it be possible to correct this bug. It seems this bug appeared in v1.02
As soon as the NAS reboots, the folders are cleaned and the ssh key is deleted, making it impossible
doing ssh backups.

Sincerely
