Hi Northerndj,
I understand that you are trying to stream your video files from your 320 directly to your TV, but I am unclear exactly how you are doing that. Are you using the 320's UPNP / Media Server or trying to stream as a network share? Does anything show up on your TV to try and access or does the 320 just not appear to select anything? Or does the 320 show up but when you try and access something you get nothing or some error message? Are you using firmware 2.02 or something earlier?
Sorry for all the questions, but the details might help in sorting it out. please and thanks.
Just to sort the confusion out here I have a DNS-325 and my mate has a DNS-320
The DNS320 worked first time just pluging it in, as he uses his for Video and Music
Mine shows Video and Pictures but Not MP3 Files until i had a mess around
Now i found that the device is not certificated for Music by DNLA
The DNLA works using the UPNP server
This is the latest i have found due to the lack of instructions available
When you make UPNP enabled and ponted it to the drive/folder you need to do a Refresh this can take a bit to do Now this needs to be done every time you add a folder but not a file.
Now i no the TV plays and see's Files on a windows PC and on my old Seagate Home Nas
Now I have managed to get the TV to see the MP3 But i have them in Folders eg of the artist the TV only sees all the Tracks
On the previous nas it saw the folders
Now on a PS3 that sees things fine
One other thing is UPNP only see's One drive only and not two
Were as on The 320 it sees two drives, I whish i got the 320 But D-Link said this was the updated version more like the other way round
I have changed the drives over and mine work fine in the 320
so clearly there is a Firmware problem
I should of looked at the DNLA website before buying this, and i would of got a Buffalo or zxel one that are cheaper units but do what they say they do
Oh and my TV Is Full DNLA unlike this box
