Refer to my earlier posting on this topic.
I see...Since it seems quite complicated (I'm a noob when it comes to dos-like commands), and the more I use the NAS, the more problems I encounter, I was wondering if there is an easy way (apart from installing transmission) to achieve any of the following :
1) Download only selected files out of a multi-file torrent ?
2) Display the log file/tracker info of a torrent, in order to find out what is wrong when a torrent is not downloading at all.
3) The P2P detail of the web interface only displays the filename of the torrent and nothing else. Isn't it supposed to display more info (seeders, leechers e.t.c) ?
4) I also have the following problem :
When a torrent is completely downloaded but still remains active in the web interface, libtorrent starts seeding it... If I stop seeding the torrent through the web interface and I afterwards press "Start" again, instead of continuing to seed the completed torrent, the client re-downloads it. AFAI can understand, this happens because the fully downloaded torrent has been moved to the "Complete" folder, the client can't find it so it starts re-downloading it again in the "Incomplete" folder... (Hope this makes sense). How can I prevent this from happening ? I guess storing ALL torrents (complete and incomplete) to a one and only folder can do the job, however I cannot change this parameter through the interface. Any help ?
5) Can I update the libtorrent version in the NAS with a newer one that, perhaps, is more versatile, without needing to go through all the hassle of heavily tweaking the NAS (as I said, I'm a complete noob !). Isn't there supposed to be an easy way to at least update the integrated programs with their newer versions ?
All in all, I am a bit disappointed by the NAS's torrent downloading capabilities and would like to make it a bit more useful without the need to tweak it/install another torrent client (which I don't understand how to do !!

)
Thanks !
