Hello all,
I just got myself one DIR-835 A1 last week and I am pretty happy with it right now

8MB/s transfer from 5GHz to 2.4GHz, hehe (yeah, I am not used to this speed. My last wireless router was one DIR-615 C1)
My ISP is Primus DSL from Canada. I managed to bridge the Thomson modem they lent and now the router does the PPPoE.
Everything is running fine and dandy, but there is just one problem... The QoS engine is not measuring the upload speed.
When there is one reconnection or when I reboot the router, I get the page saying that it is being measured, but at the webpage the "Measured Uplink Speed" appears as "Not Estimated" :/
By my test my link is 1.5Mbps down and 330Kbps up (yeah, old phone cables, lots of interference)
I can presume that when the uplink speed is not estimated the QoS engine is not working, right?
When I was just DMZ'ing the router it used to measure the speed (in this case it gets its address from DHCP). That makes me believe that QoS automatic speed + PPPoE = not working
Anyone else has this problem? My firmware is 1.02.
Oh, and out of curiosity, anybody know what kind of QoS does Dlink use? Some custom one with lots of automatic priority classification or something like Codel?
