That was the solution! I don't believe it! Finally it shows "Test OK" for the FTP function.

I was trying for days to get the FTP function to work. It worked on a Filezilla Server at my Desktop PC, but not on my ftp server on the net. I made countless tests, double-checked that all settings from my working DCS-5020 camera were exactly the same on my new DCS-5222L.
And now I see that I should have just left the first Slash from the "Remote Path Folder Name" out to get the FTP function to work. Oh man, please keep stuff like that more consistent in your product line!

Very well, here is my note for everybody else who is struggling with the FTP upload function. If you upgrade from a DCS-5020 to a DCS-5222, you can basically use the same FTP parameters you are used to. With one important change however: remove the first slash "'/" from the directory.
If it looks like this on the DCS-5020: /camera/pictures/upload
...change it to this on your DCS-5222: camera/pictures/upload
Yes, it was really that simple.
