I bought Super Street Fighter 4 a month ago, and it worked fine online (Games for Windows Live) for about 2 weeks. Occasional dropped connections. I decided to port forward, using my ipv4 address along with the ports that GFWL instructs to forward. Now every time I get into a match, I disconnect halfway through.
I've disabled my Firewall and AV, so its not them that's causing the problem.
Someone directed me to canyouseeme.org to see if my ports are forwarded, but I keep getting a message that says the connection timed out.
I've tried connecting to ethernet and I'm still experiencing drops in matches randomly (usually near the end of second round compared to beginning of it on wi-fi).
I still don't think my ports are properly forwarded, and I'm in desperate need of help because I can't even play online without DC'ing and it's really annoying
Also, I found this website http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ and its telling me that none of the ports that I forwarded on my default gateway are open.
Assistance please....
Edit: Just to expedite this whole troubleshooting process..
I'm on hardware A1 and firmware 1.01.
I am on Rogers ISP, which I believe is cable... the modem is a SMCD3GN, which to my knowledge is a Router/Modem but I've disabled the router function of it and connected the D-Link DIR-636L instead.
On ookla's speedtests, my UP is about 3 mbps, while my Down is 36 mbps.
