Still all quiet on both fronts.  :-\

Does this happen if both game consoles are on? or just the XB1?
Was the reset performed on both to chear the network cache, turned OFF fully then back on?

Keep us posted on the use of static IPs.

It depends on what console Is on last.
SB has a 15min wait period that it keeps the device alive.
So depending on witch console sb drops first the other will go strict.
Witch makes me wonder is this issue sb related?
Mention this to dlink it might help.

I know alot of routers have this issue what's odd though is if both consoles are on at exactly the same time nether go strict.
At least testing a 360 and a one.
Clearing and resetting xboxs doesn't help.
It's only a few min after sb drops it does the other go strict.

I've tried Evey possible combo with Dmz with pf resetting upnp.
Last thing to try is outside the dhcp range.
When I can test a static outside of dhcp I'll share my results.

Are you using PF settings? If you are, you need to disable uPnP. You really shouldn't be using PF if you have more than one game console. uPnP should be handling multiple consoles with SB and ABE enabled.

I would agree, there maybe some issues at the MS level.  ::)

It could very well be MS.
I think it's sb though in watching the results live.
I've never tried the energy saving on Xbox one witch I know is a possible work around.
I know you don't own a one yet but that's a really nice thing that you just don't wanna turn off.
Saying Xbox On when you get on is just nice plus it updates in the background.
So ill try outside dhcp and share wish me luck.

What is this?!!  You mean to tell me I can run this from one of the dgl 5500 ports and have 8 extra ports?!! With no speed issues etc?

If you already have one LAN cable under the house to your room, why not add one of these to the end of the cable in your room then connect up all of your devices to it:
http://www.dlink.com/us/en/home-solutions/connect/switches/dgs-105-5-port-gigabit-ethernet-switch

They come in 8 port too.

I have one in my room and one in the living room, both are connected to my 24pt in the office thats connected to the router.

FYI, I don't recommend speed testing over WiFi, specially that those distances. Ya you get good signal in same room environments however increasing the distances the signal will drop. Also there is too many variables with Wifi to get accurate results. Always speed test over LAN Wire.  ;)

Yes you can run any Gb un-managed network switch from any Mfr routers LAN port. I have a 24pt switch and two 8pt switches.

yea definitely! On another note, I was able to put one of my xb1 consoles outside of the dhcp range with no issues but the second one for some reason doesn't work.  when I try the second it doesn't connect to the net.  Could it be possibly because the second is connected to the dap?

Yes, can you get the 2nd XB1 on wired direct to the 5500?

No unfortunately not but doing the one console may have done something.  I've had my second console off in standby mode for a few hours now and just checked its still open.  If it's still open in the morning we may be on to something.
