What devices do you have connected to the 2.4ghz radio?
Have you tried streaming from the 5ghz radio instead if you have any 5Ghz supporting devices? 5Ghz is better suited for streaming and gaming.
Do wire connected devices exhibit the same problem?
- What wireless modes are you using?
- 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz routers: Try single mode G or N or mixed G and N on 2.4Ghz and single mode N or AC on 5Ghz?
- Any 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz cordless house phones or WiFi APs near by that maybe causing interferences?
- Any other WiFi routers in the area that maybe causing interferences? Link> Use InSSIDer to find out. How many? Use v3, its free.
Hardware Version: A1 Firmware Version: AU_1.00.12 , Have upgraded firmware and also factory reset.

There are plenty APs around and that was the main reason I bought the latest one hoping an improvement in performance, now it turns out to be worse that our whole internet keeps getting stucked when the laptops are connected.
I also noticed one laptop with 5Ghz also causing the same problem and not limited to 2.4Ghz right now.
I will try to play with the modes later as I need to go to bed.
Edit: On a side problem, I could not login to mydlink from the modem to register the product, not sure if its even relavent
