I also have the Linksys WRT160N (fw 2.0.03) with the DAP-1522 (fw 1.21) acting as a bridge for my PS3 and my Samsung TV. They both seem to be connecting at random times and only for brief periods. I was happy about 10 minutes ago but now I cannot even remotely manage the DAP-1522 using its previously working IP address. I've noticed that powering it on and off and rebooting are also hit and miss regarding connection. Sometimes my WPS button on my DAP-1522 works and sometimes it doesn't, but when I do get a light and the WRT160N actually connects, I do then have a reliable connection, albeit temporary. Once I lose my connection, I never seem to get it back unless I cycle the power, use WPS, or reboot--again, these are hit and miss. I have also tried playing with the Static vs DHCP and various other settings on both my router and the bridge to no avail.
You are right, after setting DAP-1522 to DHCP it shows up in the table for me as well.
About our problems though, it seems like others who even use D-Link routers are having similar issues. This is very disappointing as I was hoping to improve my media streaming with the PS3 but it's no fun to have movies and games cut out in the middle of the action. I hope a firmware fix can resolve these seemingly random disconnects.
I'm wondering if Access Point users are having the same issues...
