I used the drivers to allow me to map the DNS-323 as a drive in my computer.  ie:  I was able to assign it a drive letter for easier access.  It wouldn't let me do that without the driver.

I have no problem mapping a drive to a DNS-323 resource, I just open My Computer, select Tools, Map Network Drive.  This works fine from XP, Vista, and Windows 7 here.  I'm sure it would work from 2K if I wanted to map using that system.

I don't use those drivers, and I still can't see any use for them. :)
