Hi there.
Been looking on these forums all day, and others too. Have found that a couple of people say their Samsung Smart TV works fine with DNS-320.
I cannot get mine to work at all. All I get when I go onto Allshare is 'VIDEO', 'MUSIC', 'PHOTO' or something similar (not at the TV right now). At my wits-end with this now!!! Tried (I think) everything!!
It doesn't show my files. I have MKV, AVI, MP4.
Nothing!! It shows the NAS but not files.
PLEASE does anyone have any info? Getting really angry now as I've tried everything. The TV supports all those formats.
I called Samsung earlier as it showed my video file, but wouldn't let me play it. They advised to upgrade software, which I did. Now it won't show the files. Please help!!
Thank you
Hi Maffew.
I had this problem this time last year. Neither Samsung or D-Link could offer any kind of solution or suggestion as to the root of the problem (other than "update the firmware... Still not working? Oh well we don't support connection to other devices"! )
Eventually, instead of tearing my hair out, I submitted to the advice of other people n here and installed fun_plug, which enabled me to install Twonky on my DNS320.
It will cost you a few quid, and you have to follow the instructions to the letter, but it's not that difficult to do. but now it works really well with al the devices in my house, including my Samsung TV's.
If you want to give this a go, then follow the instructions on these two links

Good luck, but you shouldn't need that!
Let us know how you get on...
